sunday afternoon cruise

last sunday was my last sunday for this trip. Binky decided to bring me out for a ride. they say picture speaks a thousand words, let me know what you heard ok =).

saw a piece of matel plank which i believe is part of the propellar from windmill.

saw a nice dog on the boat while we were on the bridge checking out the direction.

spotted an old convertible next to the street. there's a nice cafe there which we stopped for a rest.

it was dinner's time after some hard work! Binky wanted indon food so we take-away some from an outlet which Binky visit pretty often.

quote from Toos about that evening - this is very close, to perfect.

Binky and i couldn't agree more.

no, not the duck! they don't like sambal!! tho i'm sure they should be nice to eat with some =).

we had some chat at the balcony back to Binky's place after some 20 km ride the whole afternoon. boo~ boo~ ... what a great way to end such a great afternoon.

it was late, around 10pm, and we were tired. time to call it a day and let the nice couple a rest while also time for me to head home for some packing.

saw a chevy ssr. it looked like it was going to transform anytime.

bbq nite

did i say last sat also a great day for bbq? nevermind as last sat was a farewell bbq dinner for me organised by the team.

the foods, i know i shouldn't ...

the great team ...

Ron, the handy man as well as the host, who had well demonstrated what he can be apart from a true techie at work.

the nice backyard that makes the whole town jealous was built by himself with a little help in a summer.

good food great company lovely weather lucky me =).

day out at the hague

last sat was a good day. cloudless and was closed to 30 degree i guess.

a passage thru central of hague, looked like graffiti but was actually painted by some artist.

saw some street performers on the way back to hotel. they were playing some classical music and they played well. i stayed a while enjoyed the music and ambience which i hardly can find back home. bought a cd from them and it was good.

dined at buddy's place

last friday i was invited to have dinner at my dear buddy's crib. great dinner but hey, i said no more food will be mentioned, burp~. Binky had been a very great help at work as well as a great company at personal. now before you even think any futher, below is the picture of Binky and his girlfriend - Toos, which i took on the bbq dinner at Ron's place. such a lovely loving couple don't you think!?

this is Joey. one of Binky's big kittens which claimed to be 7kg at least! he looked pretty annoyed - put away your camera and stay away from me you crazy m'sian!!!

most of that evening were spent making a lot of noise at this balcony =).

wednesday

was a day to decide whether i should do rock climbing or hashrun to fill up the evening. wasn't that tough of a choice since i told Yuri earlier that i will be joining, so hashrun i went. apparently hashrun was originated all the way from malaysia since 1938, place where i came from and i had no idea - mother of hash.

a hashrun club often refer as a drinking club with running problem. good reference =). first run was free and 3.5 euros for a subsequence run. a trail will be preset by hares (marshalls) and it could be anywhere but mostly in a park, last evening was a city run ie we ran thru buildings, roadsides or below the hiways. quite scenic i would say, should have brought my camera.

a typical trail would consists of markers and a couple of checkpoints. runners or walkers will run or walk along the markers which some could be disguise or hidden and once spotted by front runners they would shout "on!on!" to notify the rest. and checkpoints normally is more trickier where you have to find the next direction which the next marker would be somewhere further and would take time to discover. something like a treasure hunt without treasure - but of course - beer.

participants can run or walk with their own pace, strickly no racing. and the reward of the running - beer. some crisps will be given out at the end of the run and some little party will be held. hmm ... i'm not sure what else i missed out but more info can always be found here www.haguehash.nl. overall a fun and very interesting evening no doubt.
