Royal Malaysian Naval Base in Lumut - Part II

Next stop Navy fleet.

Mr Arie - dear organiser of this trip and his wife

Another lovely couple .....

The ship we were visiting located at the end, pictures taken along the way -

No 29. This was the one we boarded. We actually went all the way up to the Bridge Deck, and it was air-conditioned! Duh! But hey, I had to experience to know ain't it? We also visited a few other rooms but strictly no camera allowed inside the ship tho.

This ship normally sails with one of the Super Links, in fact this kind of ships were built specially for Super Link. There is a flight deck on board and the whole chopper can fold up and park inside the cargo area.

It was 12.30 noon and we were hungry. We thanked the officers and we left.
Took some other pics along the way

Chongie the poser and Peh Ling in helmet

Back to Arie's in-law place around 1.30pm - food!

Thanks to the hot sun, we managed to dry some of our stuffs =)

Arie's mom in-law is a famous caterer and her cooking is well known amongst bikers ... burp! Unfortunately for readers but fortunately for us, they tasted so much better than they seem on the picture =)

After some scrumptious helpings of food and drink and food and dessert and food, we rested awhile and changed to prepare to hit the road to KL. We left around 3.30pm.

It was around 4.30pm while we reached Bidor before entering the N/S Expressway. Check out the scary sky -

As expected, we caught in the rain and it was way too hard and too dangerous especially having a precious pillion. We stopped a couple of times and managed to meet some of them in one of the rest stations. Check out our gears - dripping wet =)

Had a drink and it was late for dinner with guest waiting at home, there was a sign of rain getting lighter so we proceeded our journey and managed to reach home at 7.15pm without getting too much rain - not that we can get more wet anyway =).

Hot meal waiting after shower. Hmmmm ... it's always about food for a Malaysian ain't it? ;)

Ya, it's always about food... Of all the photos, I'm most interested with the lemang, curry and rendang, hehe...
